St. Cloud State recruit Jared Festler will leave Little Falls High School and play his senior season with the Lincoln Stars of the USHL, according to a report in the Morrison County Record. Festler, who led all Minnesota high school players in scoring last year with 71 goals and 54 assists, will join the Huskies in the fall of 2008.
WCHA Blog's Take: Little Falls doesn't play the toughest schedule in the world, given the fact they are in the Central Lakes conference, so this move to the USHL should make Festler much more seasoned for his college career.
